The villa is located next to the park with waymarked cycle paths. The Adriatic coast is about 90 minutes away by car, the Tyrrhenian Sea two hours by car. Bathing is also possible in the lake, about 1.5km from the centre of Pratovecchio, or in Stia in the Arno River. The village of Pratovecchio is about 4km away. One can go on trips to the zoo at Poppi, to the pilgrimage church della Verna, to the hermitage of Camaldoli and to Foreste Casentinesi National Park. Florence and Arezzo are a 50-minute drive away, Siena 80 minutes. From Arezzo one can travel to Rome by express train in an hour and 5 minutes, making day trips possible.
