Informazioni sull'host
The B&B Villa Berghella is a family business founded with the aim of reviving the unused spaces of this structure that also embodies a part of history. We do not know the exact date of construction nor who was the first owner, but the construction dates back to the late 19th-early 20th century, as the mural painting that covers the ceiling of the internal staircase shows. The house was bought in the 1950s by the Berghella family: it was one of the few houses in the area where the city of Montesilvano has developed today; over the years it has undergone some changes to adapt it to the needs of the family. From the stories recounted, we know that, during the Second World War, it was chosen by the allied forces as a hospital base. Initially, all the rooms were decorated with murals, which were later destroyed. Its beauty is the green area that surrounds it, with centuries-old trees that guarantee shadow and freshness even in the hottest months. And if the sea, located only 3 kilometres away, shouldn't be your first choice during your stay, no problem! In the garden, you will find a swimming pool, above ground, for a relaxing dip. And for an alternative and intimate dinner, in the garden you will also find a large barbecue, where you can also try your hand at cooking the typical arrosticini of Abruzzo. You can enjoy your traditional dinner in the garden. Breakfast Every morning, our guests will find a buffet breakfast, with a wide selection of sweets and other products, served directly in the garden, under the shadow of the trees. Parking The structure also has a private internal parking, an additional security for those who choose to stay with us.
Making the guest feel at home is the philosophy that guides us in our hospitality business. The people who choose to stay with us, whether for a long period or passing through, are not simply customers for us, everyone has something to share, different cultures, experiences, emotions, passions that unite or distinguish us. In this continuous exchange, there are the people who then become friends, those who remain in our good memories, and those who remind you that you must always try to give your best. This atmosphere has by now become an essential part of our life. Greetings from Oliverta and Roberto. What to visit Just 10 minutes away, you will encounter Città Sant'Angelo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, with its historic centre. After a 30-minute journey by car, you will arrive at Atri, where you can enjoy the beauty of the Cathedral; here resides one of the seven churches in the world that have the Holy Door. You can also visit the birthplace of the well-known Italian writer Gabriele D'Annunzio and the Museo delle Genti in Pescara.
