Questa cascina in pietra, in posizione dominante e a pochi chilometri dal paese, è immersa nel verde delle colline delle Langhe, patrimonio dell’UNESCO, e dei boschi che preludono al territorio dell’Alta Langa. Qui i vigneti, tipici della Bassa Langa, iniziano a lasciare spazio alle coltivazioni di nocciola (Tonda Gentile delle Langhe) e a campi di cereali, all’allevamento delle pecore e alla fienagione, a scenari vergini e a panorami naturali di intensa bellezza, dove è ancora consentito perdersi anche solo con lo sguardo.

Originally being a farm, the house, for the most part built of stone, is located just few kilometers from the town, surrounded from one side by the green of Langhe’s hills, World Heritage Site, and from the other side by the woods, more characteristic of Alta Langa. Here it can be noticed how the vineyards, typical of Bassa Langa, start fading away as the cultivations of hazelnuts (Tonda Gentile delle Langhe), the corn and wheat fields and the sheep farms take their place. Landscapes of such a natural and immense beauty that the eye feels lost at the sight. Recently renovated, the house that seems so isolated from the rest of the world, yet so close to any need, keeps all the feel of the old times, when it even was at one point a friary. Wisely exposed south, part of the habitation is the remaining of what was once the barn, and now has been turned into a spacious room with wide windows for the viewer pleasure of the incredible scenery. At the ground floor, the entrance opens up on a wide living room, where the convivial atmosphere will be assured by the fireplace made of stone and by the continuity of spaces.

The kitchen, right under the archway that supports the stairs to the floor above, is fully equipped and functional, and a room that can be used as pantry is right next to it. The upper floor is dedicated to the bedrooms, the bathroom and a relax zone, suited for having a good read or simply for enjoying stunning sunsets. To the left side of the garden it is also available to all guests a barbecue station, and if you are a real nature and sport lover, just step outside the house to find a riding horse manage and a swimming pool close by, not to talk about the numerous trails for walks and mountain biking! If you wish you can even go in search of truffles alongside an expert “trifolau”!
