Laura has a special flair for restoring antique furniture and also for interior design which is evident throughout the trullo/villa with sumptious soft furnishings and quality decor on show both internally and externally. Jon has a special flair for creative gardening being a qualified horticulturist and this is evident in the gardens and grounds. He is also a falconer and has brought "Sisco" his Harris hawk out to Italy with him when they opted to move here. The couple share a passion for food and the outdoors and a love of nature especially when the sun is shining which happens to be a lot in Southern Italy. The magical villa/trullo sits on an elevated plot, private and not overlooked with magnificent soth facing views way across the Olive groves as far as the eye can see. Guest always comment on the special views and sunsets and its location to all the major attractions.
This boutique trullo lies within the prestigious hamlet of Laureto by the Selva di Fasano. Driving up Viale Cardone where our trullo is situated. you will see the quality high class villas this area is renowned for. But as you turn off the street and head down our drive to Trullo Falco, the elevated views across the valley lie before you, as far as the eye can see, rolling terraces of Olive groves and trees which make this a tranquil and calm setting, perfect for a family or couples holiday. All the main tourist attractions are within a short drive such as Zoo Safari by Fasano, themed water parks, ancient Roman ruins, caves of Castellana , Alberobello (now a world heritage site) and so much more all with 15 mins of Trullo Falco. For food shopping the nearby supermarket is only 5 mins away by car and like all supermarkets carries a wide selection of everything and is open every day. If you enjoy eating out then you are spoilt for choice here and can recommend great quality places to eat to suit every budget as we have road tested much of them.
