Greetings, this apartment is our holiday home for when we are in Europe. Usually, we live in Cape Town, South Africa. The house is within 100 meters of the beach and there are nice walks through the eucalyptus forest which runs along the shoreline within the nature reserve Al Simeto. This property in a secure village and with a secured drive is in a quiet area near a seasonal hotel, which provides a restaurant and swimming pool. The most famous tourism highlights of Taormina, Syracuse, Noto, and Ragusa are all within one hours drive.
The house is in a secured village which is locked at night and access is by a remote control lock. The village can be busy in August, the Italian national holiday season. The quietest summer months are April - June and September and October. There is a local shop which is open from April to October. Otherwise, shopping is in Catania or Lentini.
