This mediaeval hamlet, dating back to the 13th Century, was once a resting place along the ancient Roman road that linked the cities Siena and Arezzo. The village , all restored, emerges from the hills of Chianti area, at the limit of the municipality of Gaiole in Chianti. It offers the tranquillity of a rural village, combined with the richness of the Tuscan architectonic style consisting of fired bricks, wooden beams and centuries-old stones which were smoothed by nature and time. The hamlet consists into about 20 apartments, the garden and pool are shared among all guests. Its isolated location is the ideal place for rest and recuperation for both body and mind and an ideal get away from it all. it is an ideal place to go hiking or for expert mountain bikers . Its high point is the perfect place for the twin swimming pools. There is a 15 mts x 7,5 mt pool and a small children's swimming pool; Sun beds are provided. Note about the approach road: Approximately 2 km of wide, well maintained, unpaved road of no particular difficulty followed by a final kilometre of narrow paved road with 100 mtrs of steep slope at 25% Proceed with caution in case of oncoming traffic.
