Informazioni sull'host
Hello, my name is Paola, and I am a mother of three. I went to a German School and have a Ph.D from USC, in LA, USA, in Computer Science. I love meeting people from all over the world and introduce them to the secrets of the beautiful city I live in.
The loft is on the fifth and last floor of an ancient building, that is part of the World Heritage, since it is one of the oldiest in its district. There is no lift, hence, if you don't have..."good legs", this is nothing for you! On the other hand, once you have gained the top you will have the impression of floating over the old town, since the space is overwhelmed by a beautiful light the whole day long, coming from the skylights. From here there is a glimpse of the rooftops, but most of all you can reach for the blue color typical of Genova, that has given the name to the world famous Blue Jeans cloth. The loft has recently been entirely renovated, including bathroom, roof, floor, windows, plumbing, electrical and heating system. It is modernly furnished. However, it preserves ancient elements such as the structural logging that holds the roof transversing the entire space, that is dated at the construction years of the building (1200). The roof is pitched and in the highest part of the room there is the mezzanine, on which there is a double bed. There are also a double sofa bed and two ottomans convertible into single bed.
The loft is located just in front of the aquarium, only a few meters away from the driveway , so you can download your bags comfortably , even in the rain , because the car will stop next to a porch. Despite its centrality, the apartment is quiet and very peaceful. Vico Morchi is in fact a short pedestrian alley with barely any activity at street level, that joins the aquarium area and Via San Luca , a lively street with many commercial activities, restaurants and groceries. You will find all you can need at just a few steps!
