Situato a metà strada tra Mondaino e Montegridolfo, il Convento di San Francesco è un antico monastero in pietra circondato da un ampio giardino con querce secolari. Al mattino vi attende la colazione.

Our property has been a Franciscan Monastery for around 600 years, from early 1200s until the end of 1700s. We have preserved its special identity and the unique atmosphere of tranquility surrounded by beautiful nature. We love to make our guests welcome and feel like at home.

In my life I have had the opportunity to study abroad and travel a lot for pleasure and for work. I like to meet and interact with interesting people of different cultures, backgrounds, religions, professions and so on. I like to know the history, geography, arts and culture of the beautiful places I visit, so I provide for our guests info, services and assistance like those I need when I travel. I like a lot this hosting experience and I am overwhelmed to realize all our guest's great appreciation and comfort during their stay here.

Our property covers a very large area of about 14 hectares (about 34 acres). We are on top of a hill call Monte Formosino, which is about 400 meters (1,300 ft) from sea level. So our surrounding is green nature and beautiful landscapes ranging from the coast line to the beautiful hills and mounts of the Marche region. Therefore our neighborhood is peaceful, natural and permeated with clean air. Our monastery is located about 1 Km (0,6 miles) from the center of Mondaino, a small town of about 1.200 inhabitants with medieval origins that offers beautiful original sites to be visited. Nice typical restaurants, pizzerias and agriturismi are within a short range of 2 km (1,5 miles), offering local and regional cuisine.
