La Torre dei Merli luxury tower villa is in Monterosso, Cinque Terre National Park. This part of the Italian Riviera is Unesco World Heritage Site for its high cultural value and incredible location. The Tower is one of the most beautiful Villas of the Cinque Terre for its position, overlooking the sea, vineyards and olive tree hills. This wonderful Villa is a tower. It’s creation dates back to 1901 when a cousin of Eugenio Montale, famous Italian poet and 1975 Literature Nobel Prize, wanted it as astronomical observatory. Then became a house in the 1960’s.
Monterosso al Mare is the largest village of the Cinque Terre. It is also the most accessible village of the 5, easy to walk around and the one with an amazing, with a stunning stretch of beach right in town. Here beaches are equipped with umbrellas, showers, beach chairs, restaurants and cafeterias. Monterosso is a favorite among young travellers, couples and families.
