This property was designed with family in mind, as well as for people who appreciate vintage, retro and antiques. There is a little bit of something for everyone, vintage wooden toys, old veined ceramic dishes, alluminium pots and pans from the past as decoration (don't worry, there are new ones for guests to use). All items are for sale as well should you fall in love with something. Just think of it as a flea market vacation home!
I am an Australian mother of two and wife to a hard working Italian. I love to travel and finding great discoveries at flea markets and old world stores. I get my inspiration from transforming things and changing them to something useful or just pretty to look at. My belief is that the world has so many beautiful things in it, why create new things when we can transform old ones. I fell in love with Castiglion Fiorentino at the tender age of 18. I had travelled here with my family many times as my father was born here but didn't quite appreciate it until I discovered it for myself. This town has so many things to offer, the passion of the people, the beautiful landscapes, the food, the wine and just losing yourself in all it's glory.
Castiglion Fiorentino is in the Tuscan hills just outside Arezzo and 15 minutes drive from Cortona. It is a small city dedicated to it's people and there are manifestations of all kinds throughout the year. There are also many restaurants and bars to entertain locals and tourists. Just up the road from the apartment you can find delicatessens, boutiques, bars, a grocery store, butcher, bakery and pubs and even real estate agents should you fall in love with Castiglion Fiorentino as well!!
