-The house sits on an independent 5 acre plot and is accessed from a private driveway off the country road to Sillicano. - It is only 5kms away from the busy hub of Castelnuovo with many banks, cafes and restaurants. -Guests have exclusive use of the pool which is 14m x 6m and is 1.5m deep. -We offer the entire house which sleeps up to 12, or the independent guest suite with a private entrance and 4 bedrooms which can accommodate up to 7 guests. We are excited to meet travellers from far and near and welcome them to our home in the Tuscan hills. The house has a separate property, the former local mill, which we are in the process of renovating. The main house was originally two dwellings but has been converted into a single property. It therefore is adaptable and has the potential to accommodate two families who holiday together; one half could sleep 7 people, the other 5- so 12 in total. Guests have sole use of our large pool. There are many fruit trees on the extensive plot from which you can pluck apples, cherries, pears, plums, figs, persimmon or pomegranate. It is the perfect base for day trips to Barga and Lucca or for exploring the many surrounding villages. We love it and we hope you will too.

The house enjoys a tranquil setting, nestled in the hills with panoramic views over the valley below with a variety of shopping and restaurants in and round the area. There are frequent train links to Lucca which hosts the summer music festival. Pisa airport is a 45 min drive away. The Versilia coastline and the popular ski slopes of Abetone are a short distance away.
