Ianua Roma is a quiet and spacious apartment located in a quiet area in the center of Rome, within walking distance from the Coliseum and most of the major city historical sites and attractions but at the same time enough distant from the chaos of the tourist area. Located at the ground floor/mezzanine and immersed in a wonderful garden, the apartment has been recently renewed but still keeping the fascinating details of a typical 1920’s residential building. It can hold up to 5 guests and it’s perfect for singles, couples and families with kids. The apartment consists of a large bedroom with a king size bed and a convertible couch, a second room with two singles, a comfortable and spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower.

The apartment is located in the historical area called “Latino-Metronio” close to the San Giovanni Basilica, a short walk from the section of the Aurelian Walls that goes from Porta San Sebastiano (formerly Porta Appia) to Porta Metronia (formerly Porta Metrovia) trough Porta Latina. This is one of the best preserved section of the roman Walls. Thanks to being very close to bus and subways stations and stops, the apartment is very well connected with the main railway stations and with most of the famous sites and monuments of the Eternal City, including the very close Catacombs of Via Appia-Latina. The Latino-Metronio neighborhood is pretty alive both at night and during the day. Shops, markets and lots of small mom and pop stores carrying a diversity of products. At night, typical small Italian restaurants (“trattorie”), fine dining places, and other amenities are always at hand to fill your desires.
