This property with amazing view of Florence and of the surrounding olive groves was bought by my parents in 1986. I have been living here since 2011. Since then I have been restoring the main farm house and barn. The atmosphere and tranquillity are magic, the place is very quiet, the view is amazing.
I have dedicated part of my life to learning languages and have lived in foreign countries for a few years. I speak fluent English, German, French, Spanish and of course Italian, my mother tongue. I hold a license as tour guide for Florence and the rest of Italy and run my home based travel agency named Beauty In Italy. I'm a specialist of tailor-made trips to Italy for individual clients and small groups. It's taken me a few years to restore the house and the granary and to obtain a license as Agriturismo (rental of a rural area and house). I cultivate 200 olive trees and make my own extra virgin olive oil, besides home made jams and tomato sauces from my vegetable garden. I enjoy hiking (there is a lot of it also just outside the property), opera and classical music concerts.
There are no words to tell you how much I love my neighborhood! The views, nature and tranquill pace of life are amazing! In only 25 minutes I drive down to Florence and park: a real treat! Just out of the property there are many easy walks and also longer hikes. It's also perfect for a run. In 10 minutes' walk one reaches a lovely restaurant with Tuscan food in the little village Villamagna which features a beautiful XII century romanesque church. Besides the restaurant there is also a pizzeria open on Saturdays and Sundays in the evening from 7:00 PM: the prices are very affordable.
