The apartment occupies the third floor (no elevator) of a typical Florentine palace. It has a double size bed, a sofà, internet connection, a kitchen fully equipped and a bathroom with a spacious shower (there is no air conditioning). The nearest supermarket is at only 200mt. Travellers with car - The flat is situated inside the ZTL (Limited traffic area) and you cannot access without a special permit. If you travel by car please advice me before arriving at the flat. ***** For North American travelers - the flat is situated on the fourth floor with no lift ***** A picture of ALL guests passports is required at arrival to complete the check in. As per Italian security law, need to register the guests to the local police website.
The Santo Spirito and San Frediano areas are the “real Florence”, where you can feel the real atmosphere of this charming city. There are a lot of artisans shops (botteghe), restaurants, pizzerias and trattorias for lunch and dinner. The most important touristic attractions of the neighborhood are the Brancacci chapel (Masaccio’s frescoes inside), the basilica of Santo Spirito and the Boboli gardens. The Pitti Palace and the Ponte Vecchio are only 5 min walk, Uffizi Gallery and Duomo cathedral only 10 min walk.
