Domus Quiritum Suite, recently renovated by a renowned Roman architect, is composed of a bedroom with queen-sized bed, a living room with kitchenette and a large bathroom. It’s located on the raised ground floor (one short flight of stairs up), facing onto the building’s quiet courtyard. The bedroom has a spacious closet, a bed with hypoallergenic, ergonomic and breathable Memory Foam matress and pillows, a small fireplace and a “planetarium” to provide you with unforgettable romantic nights under a starry sky. The kitchen, with a large island in the center, faces onto the living room, which has a small “cinema area” with a 60” TV and Dolby Surround Sound, where you can relax while watching a movie! The spacious bathroom has its own window and a large two-person shower with a relaxing waterfall-style shower. The apartment is also equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, air-conditioning and Wi-Fi. We also provide linens and towels, hair dryer and iron. Locally sourced cookies, jams, cakes, fruit juices and honey are available for afternoon tea.
We are Alessio and Lucilla, two scientific researchers, travelers and dreamers… backpacks always at the ready for a new adventure! It was during our trip to explore the Alaskan wilderness that we slept for the first time in a B&B, a friendly and welcoming place where we met people from all over the world and shared experiences, ideas, and emotions.That’s when our dream was born: to open our own home to travelers, so that we could share our passion and wonder for our amazing city, which we feel so fortunate to call «home».We are also passionate about nature and good food, and through our travels we’ve gained an awareness of the impact of our actions on the earth. It’s not always easy to limit our “footprint” on the earth, but we’re convinced that if we all work together, we can do better! On this adventure of ours we’ve shared the pleasure of welcoming our guests with our friends Emiliano and Sara.
Domus Quiritum Suite is in the heart of Rome, in the Prati neighborhood, once known as “Prati di San Pietro” (The Lawns of St. Peter’s). In fact, St. Peter’s Basilica is very close, just a 10-minute walk crossing the picturesque medieval district called Borgo. It’s also a short walk from Castel Sant’Angelo (less than 350 meters), Piazza del Popolo (less than 1 km) and Villa Borghese (less than 1 km). The closest metro stop is just two blocks away (Lepanto, Line A), making it easy to get to Termini station or the Colosseum.
