Chalet Del Sole is a beautiful, newly refurbished holiday home with sea views and a sunny terrace. It sleeps up to 6 people (2 people on sofa beds). From Chalet Del Sole, you will enjoy a gorgeous view of the sea and the Gulf of Naples. Chalet Del Sole is 80 metres squared and features a wonderful, private terrace with a view of the sea, air conditioning, winter heating and internet access. The kitchen is equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker and other small appliances including a kettle and toaster. There is also a washing machine. The main bedroom has a double bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed) and is accessed from the living room. From the bedroom, you can get to the terrace through a French door and enjoy wonderful views of the coastline and the sea. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. The main bedroom has a beautiful ensuite bathroom which is equipped with a washbasin, shower and toilet. The second bedroom is accessed via the living room. It has two single beds (80 cm/32 inches) which can be joined to make a double bed.
Chalet Del Sole is situated on the road to Mount Faito, where there are stunning views of the Bay of Naples, Mount Vesuvius and the Sorrento Peninsula. The holiday home is located just outskirts of a small village and is 10 minutes’ walk from restaurants, shops and public transport. The beach and the tourist port in Vico Equense are approximately 20 minutes away on the local bus. To access Chalet Del Sole, there is a sloping driveway with space to park your car at the top right outside the entrance. We recommend using a car whilst staying at Chalet Del Sole. Chalet Del Sole is located approximately 20 minutes by car from Vico Equense, the centre of the Sorrentine Peninsula. Vico Equense is well linked by public transport and from here, you are only 20 minutes by train from Pompeii, Ercolano, Sorrento and Positano. Vico Equense’s coast offers lovely beaches with clear water and all the equipment you need to soak up the sun! The town has two ports: Vico Equense and Seiano, from where you can hire a private boat to Sorrento, Capri, Amalfi and Positano. Both ports are accessible by local buses. Vico Equense also offers some of the best restaurants in the Sorrentine peninsula.
