You will stay in a typical Piedmontese stone house surrounded by a large garden and a small vineyard. The room has an enchanted view of the Unesco hills with vineyards of Muscat, hazelnuts, truffles and small villages. The house is 10 minutes from Neive and Barbaresco, among the most beautiful villages in Italy, 20 minutes from Alba, the heart of the Langhe and the white truffle fair, 20 minutes from Asti, 1 hour from Turin and 1 hour from the Ligurian sea. Camera dell'Alba is a large room in antique style, with terracotta details and original furnishings of the late nineteenth century. A Deco sofa creates a lovely relax area that can easily become a bed for children or third guests. The bathroom has shower, soap, towels and hairdryer. A wooden staircase leads from the big stone living room to your room. You can relax in the large common living room with a stone arch and explore with the owners the curiosities of the area as well as take tailor-made cooking or craft classes (just write us for info). The garden and its small gazebo are at guests' disposal for little walks or a relaxing breakfast.
We are a young couple lead by the love for their country and with a great travelling experience. Our Country House is located on the edge of a small village halfway between Coazzolo and Mango. Mango is a pretty small town typical of the Langhe, with its big stone castle and an extraordinary view of Piedmont and the whole Alps arch, being located at 500 meters above sea level. In the village you can find all the main services, such as food, bank, post office, pharmacy, church, some shops and a small trattoria. In about 15-20 min by car you can reach ALBA, medieval city famous for its wine and white truffle international fair hold here every autumn. Within 20 min by car you can also reach ASTI where you can see the Palio once a year and several antique and brocante market during weekends and BRA, the city of Slow Food, University of Gastronomic Sciences and Cheese festival every 2 years. All around Casa Piemontesina you will find unique UNESCO landscapes with its villages and castles, such as Neive, Barbaresco, Treviso, Barolo, La Morra and many others You can arrive to our house by car or motorbike. Car or motorbike are the best ways to explore the surroundings. Even on foot and by bike you can take several scenic routes of different difficulties.
