Casa Colonna is located in the historic center in the ZTL Zone (Limited Traffic Zone) from which you step outside into the famous Piazza's open air Museum of SS Annunziata and walk to all of the city's most famous monuments within minutes. We are down the street from Duomo, short stroll to Piazza Santa Croce or Piazza della Signoria and only steps from the Uffizi. The view from the terrace on the yearly Fireworks of June 24 - to commemorate Saint John (San Giovanni)- is simply amazing! Casa Colonna is also closed to the flee market as well as the fresh organic food market of Sant'Ambrogio as well as closed to Vivoli's, the best ice-cream parlour! You are a few yards away from the House of Dante, but also to the one of Michelangelo. Pubs, trattorias, restaurants, markets and coffee bars are at a few steps from home. You can't find a better location from which to explore Florence! Casa Colonna is located on the third and last floor with NO ELEVATOR (but with only 62 large and easy stairs to climb).
