Informazioni sull'host
The villa's were created in 1970 being the first touristic operator and holiday village to open in the area. Luigi Passalia, the founder was the first who saw the concept of tourism in the area with his vision of a structure who could host people from all over the world. And so he dedicated his efforts to maintain the style of the village as an oasis of peace and tranquility, promoting a concept of free tourism with the main focus as love for nature and relaxation. Keeping the unique and natural character of the original land and protecting itself against mass tourism. He was a poet , writer, journalist, and his culture moved him towards expanding the concept of true hospitality. His vision worked and people from all over the world are still enjoying their holidays in this unique place. Up until today, it's still a family business who are happy to welcome you in this magical place.
The most beautiful beach (Praia di Fuoco), which was a theater of pirates fights in the past, is only accessible from a stairway built in the mountain at our guest's exclusive's use. The beach is white sand and beautiful rocks and coves, ideal for diving/scuba diving. The transparency of the water makes it one of the most desirable locations where to explore and discover the Mediterranean sea's fauna and flora through sub excursions. The rocky outcrop that characterizes the place dates back to the Quaternary period geologically. Capo Vaticano's fire beach won the award of “most beautiful Italian beach” in 2015 and is among the 100 most beautiful beaches on the planet.
Calabria is a fascinating region located at the very south of Italy and surrounded by the sea. The coastline alternates between rugged cliffs and sandy beaches and the sea, with its wonderful colours and its clear crystal waters, has no reason to envy the Caribbean. Its unspoilt countryside and mild climate provide an excellent setting for people wishing to relax, to have a great choice of leisure activities while being in contact with nature. And what about the people of Calabria? They are friendly, spontaneous, they enjoy talking and meeting people from other countries. Probably, the best way to define them is by using the words of a popular Calabrian song which says: “ Everybody says that the Calabresi’s head is hard as a wall but their heart is big as the sea.”
