Welcome to Cà dè Armando, an ancient stone house near the historic centre of Ponzò, a small village overlooking the beautiful Val di Vara. Our house is perfect for couples or families that are looking to escape from city life and relax in a quiet, countryside setting within driving distance of Cinque Terre, La Spezia and Portovenere. The house includes a private terrace equipped with a parasol, sunbeds, barbecue, table and chairs and parking a few steps away. The house consists of a bedroom with a double bed with large wardrobe, a living room with TV, double sofa bed, a bathroom with shower and a kitchen with appliances and washing machine. All rooms are equipped with hot and cold air conditioners.
A car is required to reach the house as public transports are absent in the village. There is a free parking available just few meters away. Surroundings: Ponzò is in the middle of Val di Vara, full of traditional towns and villages like Pignone but also pretty close to the famous hotspot of Cinque Terre (if you'd like to reach them by car - also we don't recommend it as the parking space is very limited). La Spezia Centrale station is just 20 minutes away by car and it's the best alternative to visit Cinque Terre, using a frequent train departing normally every 15 minutes. We reccommend to visit the "Parco delle Cinque Terre" website to consider daily tickets options which include more benefits. Also Val di Vara offers a number of activities as the area is full of hiking routes, perfect for trekking or to rent a bicycle. If you're more adventurous, Vara River offers kayak and rafting experiences. If you're looking for some fancy shopping, we reccommend the "Brugnato-Cinque Terre Outlet Village".
