Our apartments are located 30 steps from the sea, in a privileged and unique position. All of them have terraces with wonderful views of the sea and maintain the original structure of the typical fishermen's houses.

Originally from Rome, Italy, I lived in more than 10 countries during my life. Since 10 years I live in Barcelona, Spain, were I set up two companies: one for apartment rentals in Rome and Barcelona. In all businesses we focus on an attentive and personalised service to our clients. I have two dogs, both Jack Russells, and love to go biking with them. I'm used to interact with people from all over the world and hospitality has been my job in the last 10 years, after being a consultant for a well known american firm. I love nature, photografy, horsebackriding, interact with different cultures... I miss my country sometimes but most of all I miss Italian food: couldn't survive without my daily dish of pasta, al dente. My motto is definitely CARPE DIEM and be good to people.

Alicudi is a volcanic island, therefore, there are no roads or cars, only stairs that lead from the port to the different inhabited centres and to the Alicudi natural park, the mountainous area and the crater. Alicudi, a virgin island of rare beauty, is recommended for those who love peace, silence and tranquility. There are wonderful trekking routes that lead to the crater. The typical beaches of the Aeolian Islands are lava rock. The houses in the port are the most sought-after, as they are accessible by a few stairs. Water is limited throughout the island so a conscientious consumption is always required. The island does not have an hospital, pharmacy, tobacco shop or butcher shop, but it has two food stores, three bars and fishermen who sell their fish in the port. There is also no bank nor ATM machine so cash is advised because not all accept cards. Basic medical care is guaranteed by a medical guard. Local families offer family dinners in their homes to enjoy the incredible dishes of the island, usually based on fish. It is possible to rent boats of different sizes to local fishermen.
