AGRITURSMO LUCERTOLA is a complex of 9 apartments with a swimming pool located in the countryside between the enchanting medieval village of Montecatini Val Di Cecina (4 km) and the stunning Etruscan city of Volterra (15 km). Lucertola means lizzard and Agriturismo derives its name from the small beatiful golden-green lizzards that are common in Tuscany. The Agriturismo stands in the middle of beautiful Tuscan hills surrounded by cereal fields and benefits greatly from unobstracted 360 degree views. The nearest Tuscan town is Montecatini (4 km)built on the top of the mountain from where you can admire the manificent unforgettable views of the Valdera Valley. There are 2 restaurants, a bar and a grocery store located in a plaza. Agriturismo gusets can use the hammocks two barbecues, a playground, large swimming pool equipped with deckchairs and umbrellas. Each apartment delivers its own patio with pergola plus table and chairs so during the hot days you can enjoy the shade. A free laundry room and covered parking are avaiable too, as well first infant bed linen plus chair. After six days of stay the change of bed linen and towels is free of charge.

We are the new hosts of Agriturismo Lucertola. We’ve chosen this place to live because of love for Tuscany.For that place we’ve changed the country of residence .The structure was built in 1720 and has been recently renovated with particular care of retaining the typical black stone commonly used in the Montecatini area. We added many new facilities, all of that we’ve done with one in mind: our dreams are rested happy guests. All apartments are decorated in a rustic style with stone walls, antique furniture and wooden beams. Notice: we know this area very well,we’ll serve you with helpful and practical tips: what is worth to see, where you can eat amazing food and we know all of the beautiful places designed for both: sightseeing and relaxation, not described in the guides. We will be available for any information by mobile phone,via e-mail or in-person. Please don’t hesitate asking the question. All guests are greeted with a litle gift. Upon request we can deliver extra cleaning or bed linen and towels( the price depends on the range of the service). You can also rent pool towels and we offer local olive and wine from the surronunding vineyards.

You can also explore the villages of Chianni and Casciana Terme (thermal baths). Children can have fun in the amusement park "Il Cavallino Matto" (52 km) and in the water park "Cecina Mare Aqua Village" (37 km).
